Itinerary
Vampiritos de San Luis Soyatlán
Vampiritos are the signature drink of San Luis Soyatlán: a fresh, spicy mix of natural juices, fruit, a touch of salsa, and just the right amount of alcohol to lift your spirits without knocking you down. They’re served in a rimmed cup, full of color and energy, with that weekend vibe that tastes even better by the lake and in the open air.
Gigi’s Restaurant
Gigi’s is one of those mountain spots that doesn’t need to brag to deliver. Hot food, generous portions, and a cozy cabin-style atmosphere that feels like a well-earned break in the middle of the forest. The menu offers traditional favorites, cuts of meat, pastas, and comforting dishes that hit perfectly after the cool mountain air.
Mundo aventura
Mundo Aventura is the adrenaline hub of the mountains: a park surrounded by forest, high bridges, and views that remind you you're far from the city noise. Entrance to the park is included, and from there each visitor chooses how adventurous they want to get, since all activities are paid separately. The setting mixes nature, height, and pine-covered paths that make the visit worthwhile even without doing any activities. It’s a stop that adds excitement, great photo spots, and that “finally something different” feeling. Perfect for anyone who wants a touch of adventure without needing to do it all.
Mirador del tigre
The Mirador del Tigre is a viewpoint where the mountain range opens wide and the landscape becomes the main attraction. From here, you can see the Colima Volcano, framed by mountains and clouds, giving the view an epic touch you won’t find just anywhere. The lookout is part of a natural reserve, home to local wildlife. Among the animals that can be found are deer, regional bird species, and, most notably, Bengal tigers that are protected within the reserve. It’s a simple yet powerful stop: cool mountain air, an open horizon, and the feeling of standing in a place ruled entirely by nature. A view that absolutely deserves the pause.
Mazamitla Town
Mazamitla has that calm mountain vibe that slows you down even if you arrive with your mind running fast. Cobblestone streets, tile roofs, the scent of damp wood, and a town center filled with cafés, artisan shops, and that simple way of life everyone secretly looks for. It’s a place made for walking unhurriedly, taking in the surroundings, and letting the atmosphere do its work. We add one hour of ATV riding per couple, giving the experience a perfect touch of adventure. Between the forest, the trails, and the cool mountain air, the route feels free, fun, and unlike anything offered by most Pueblo Mágico towns.
